Founded in 2012, the band Chuck Stone consists of twelve people. Chuck’s music is written by three senior men with beer bellies, but a long history and heritage in music. The producers trio: Tom Brook (vocals, guitar), Pace Mills (vocals, bass) and Erik A (keys, vocals) have had their musical careers ranging from hip hip to punk. Chuck Stone samples the music they were growing up with: James Brown, Sly Stone, Otis Redding, Funkadelic and many others. Together with their band (consisting of very young talented musicians) they bring this music back to life. With original new songs the band throws an unforgettable party. “Dynamite” Chuck’s debut CD (2013) features seven stompin’ tracks with rousing horns and harmonious vocals. The late American composer and singer Bunny Sigler (Curtis Mayfield, O’Jays, The Roots) collaborated with the band on this epic mini album.
